'They're Selling the Atmosphere'

"Wow.." was the first impression once I hit my seat. The interior is in tone with Joe's icon. Sets of tables, ceiling, furniture, all finished wooden. Moreover, a smiling pretty lady at front desk has built up those appetite to eat more that nite, hey :p

Smoking here means almost all of the foods are slow-cooked using smoke from jack-fruit tree wood, that is here's signature. (I thought it was named because Joe loves smoking haha.., smoking area is available upstairs anyway if you mind). And it is said that smoker (:call for the smoked meat) has being shipped/ imported directly from St.Louis Missouri. Interesting.

I ordered two main course, the first is called Taste of Smoking Joe. Ordered large size which is good for 3 to 4 people. It consists of Half Chicken, Half Beef Brisket and Half Pork Rib. Large Taste of Smoking Joe cost me IDR 398,000 (before tax) without any veggies or salad. You can add (as well I recommend) to add some veggies/ mashed potato/ steamed rice if you like.

Ah...they also offer a basket of breadsticks as a compliment to the guest. Nice, they arranged neatly on every tables. After tasting the first, overall I love the Half Beef Brisket. Chew that tender sliced-beef and you will taste..whoa..the smoke scent coming out from the meat! For the rest, Pork Rib's thickness was quite texture disrupting , and so-so for the Chicken.

Second entree, I ordered Crispy Barramundi Fillet, other menu From The Sea. Briefly, it shouldn't be like this! The texture was too hard for a Barramundi. It's seems like....Bandeng Asep :(sth like Milkfish? in Bahasa). Nah, this one (hmm..finally) is served with grilled potatoes, broccoli and lemon capers sauce. Crispy Barramundi Fillet cost IDR 149,000 (before tax) for about 150g roughly.

Another you wanna know in this restaurant actually are, they offer Halal cooking method to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all the valued guest. And they have live music from live jazz to blues music at weekend, romantic isn't it? That's why I wrote 'They're Selling the Atmosphere' as my caption, good place for dealing wif ur girl/boy friend ;)

My first project as well my 'first self-taught' with Adobe Illustrator. (With my bro's assist actually haha..)

This logo was created for my classmates since we were on Engineering class so the idea has to be techy! At last I adopt GEAR WHEELS as the main idea with flexibility, supportive, hi-tech, problem-solver characters. Then the red gear which look like pair of hands, holding sth like an egg, which represents care.
Actually it hasn't finalised yet, I'll fix it one day.
